You can sell more Clay workthan you can staff.

Put a systems builder on the project.

That's not a comment on how you run the shop. It's arithmetic. The work arrives in bursts and a systems builder you hire arrives on a payroll, monthly, whether the queue is full or empty.

So we come in on the projects that need a systems builder and stay on for as long as that project runs. Behind your team, never in front of your client. We spent eleven years as software engineers before we moved into sales, which is why the build side is where we're worth having.

01 / Capacity

The capacity math

Hiring is the right instinct. It's the math underneath it that usually stops the idea, and the math is the only thing on this page we're arguing with.

The build you already sold

What happens now

It lands with whoever on your team has the fewest hours this week, and it gets built to the deadline instead of to the spec.

With a systems builder on it

It goes to someone whose whole job is building it, and your team stays on the work they're already good at.

The next good client

What happens now

You take it and stretch, or you tell them next month. Next month is usually when they go and ask somebody else.

With a systems builder on it

You take it. The capacity shows up with the project instead of ahead of it.

Six months later

What happens now

The table still runs, nobody remembers why it was built that way, and nobody wants to touch it.

With a systems builder on it

The reasoning sits alongside it, so the next segment comes out of what's already there.

02 / How it works

Behind your team, for as long as the project runs.

We work alongside your team
Client work ramps and moves quickly, and we've been on that side of it. We come in on the projects that need a systems thinker and work as part of your delivery for as long as that project runs.
Your spec, your outcome
You tell us the outcome and the date. We'll ask what we need to ask up front, then build it to your standard rather than ours.
It feeds the rest of the team
Tables, gates, run conditions, and the reasoning behind each one, written down while it's built. That's what your team builds the next segment on top of, and it's why the client can still pull useful data out of it six months later.

03 / The pilot

If a call is the wrong first step, start with one build.

It's genuinely hard to tell whether a builder is any good from a conversation, and easy to tell from one table they built for you.

So pick whatever build is sitting in your queue. We agree a flat fee before anything starts. You give us the spec and the date you need it by, and you see the finished thing well before your client does. If it isn't the standard you sell at, you found that out on one project instead of on a payroll.

We run a small number of these at once. That's the only reason we'd tell you no.

04 / The proof

Dual certified, and that's the whole list.

Clay Outbound Automation CertifiedClay Inbound Automation Certified

Clay Outbound Automation Certified and Clay Inbound Automation Certified.

Numbers on a page like this are easy to write and hard to check, and you know that because you sell the same work. One build against your own spec tells you more than anything we could put here.

05 / Not for

Three reasons this isn't a good fit

The job is a one-off list
If you need a table pulled once and never run again, that's an afternoon for somebody cheaper. We're worth having when the thing has to keep running and keep producing data your client acts on.
You want it judged in week two
Give us a few weeks with the data before you decide whether the build is right. We'd rather show you what your data actually says than agree with whatever we guessed at on day one.
You want a face in front of your client
That's an account role and you're better at it than we are. We're on the build, which is where we do our best work anyway.

06 / The ask

A call, or the build sitting in your queue.

Twenty minutes if you want to talk it through first. If you'd rather skip that, tell us what's in the queue and what the deadline is, and we'll agree a fee before anything starts.

Booking for something else? Book anyway and say so, or use cal.com/mamba/quick-intro for the general calendar.

Rather write it than book a call?

Then write it. It reaches us directly and we answer within a day.
